Cancellation/No-show Policy
In order to facilitate timely access to services, please call to cancel appointments 24 hours in advance. This courtesy allows us to manage Cardiology visits more effectively and make room for others. Cancellations help save us the resources and time we set aside for a patient visit. Should you need to re-schedule your appointments we will attempt to do so as soon as possible.
If you do not show up to your appointment and do not call to cancel, you should follow-up with your primary care provider (family doctor or nurse practitioner) and we will require a new referral. We value the health of every patient and would like to do our best to provide excellent cardiac care to North Bay and the surrounding area.
Thank you for choosing us and placing your trust in our services.
Frequently Asked Questions
What to bring to your appointment?
– All your current medications and supplements, to every appointment. Why? Prescriptions change, especially if you are prescribed medications by more than one provider. This way we can create a complete and up to date medication list for your safety. This avoids duplicating medication prescriptions, dosage errors, and interactions, as many herbal supplements can interact with prescription medications.
– Any questions you may have. It may be helpful to write your questions down.
